MonnaLusa was a research project that called for the transformation of constraints into opportunities for the creation of future products open to the aesthetic paradigms of a new renaissance. It was intended to design products, benefiting from themes that knew how to read the relationship between a creative Portugal and an entrepreneurial Toscana, referring to culture as a carrier of quality.

Concept:

The focus of this project was the rebirth and the sub-theme was one of the most important phrases of the work “The Divine Comedy” by Dante Alighieri, more specifically from the book Inferno do canto V “Amor, ch’a nullo amato amar perdona”. The phrase represents an impossible love, where it demonstrates a strong connection existing in the strength of a passionate love, which dominates the senses and does not allow a truly loved person not to reciprocate the feeling, love is of such intensity that it resists even after death.
